24 hours prior to appointment: Schedule any manicures, pedicures or waxing. Always shave using a new blade before and afterwards, ensures a longer lasting tan.
Exfoliation is of the utmost importance, ensuring a smooth application will have less likely hood of dry patches. We retail products that are made especially for this which are Sodium Laurel Sulphate free. Sodium Laurel Sulphate is a harsh foaming agent that dries the skin. Special attention should be made to the sides and back of neck, back sides of underarms, tops of hands and feet, and face.
Day of session: Shower ahead of time. Do not use or wear perfumes, deodorants, or makeup. If you have natural nails apply a clear coat of polish to protect fingers and toes. Apply a small amount of lip balm on your lips just prior to service. It is entirely up to you how much skin you want to tan, many clients prefer a bathing suit or underwear set. It is not advisable to wear your best underwear set.
Wear loose clothing (preferably dark) and footwear after your session. More instructions will be given at departure.
